Todd McDevitt of New Dimension Comics loves buying and selling comic books. But a close 2nd love of his is beer! On January 13th, he embraced a chance to combine his 2 passions with a Pop-Up Comicon at Crooked Run Brewing in Sterling, VA. The brewery has a large event space and through getting to know the staff there, Todd discovered they are all comic loving nerds. Brainstorming continued over some shared pints and this event was born!
“I’m friendly with a lot of dealers in the Virginia/Maryland area, so when I reached out to my pals to let them know I was hosting an event inside a brewery, they were excited to join. Currently, looking to have about 10 other vendors”, says McDevitt.
