CGC Comic Grading Drop Off at NorthEast ComicCon 2020

Press Release:

NorthEast ComicCon & Collectibles Extravaganza is the Boston area’s best place to buy high quality comic books, both for reading and for investment. As part of the process of collecting comics, a grading system, something that has been around collecting since rocks, was developed to have common ground in the language of comic condition. Having an opportunity to have books graded, and valued, is something many collectors are seeking.

One of our anchor exhibitors, The One Stop Shop of Clinton, MA, is excited to announce they will be accepting books for CGC Submission at NorthEast ComicCon March 13th-15th! As a full service comic shop in central Massachusetts, TOSS (The One Stop Shop) also deals in limited run comics and autographed items.

Take advantage of FREE pre-screening and appraisal for their expert opinion on whether you can increase the value and collectibility of your books by submitting them for grading, utilizing industry tools including WorthPoint, CBSI, GPAnalysis & CGC Census, as well as their experience from over a decade in the industry and thousands of books submitted for grading.
Whether individual books or an entire collection they will assist collectors who bring books in for perusal, by potentially pulling out the key issues of particular value, inspect them for signs of restoration & estimate a grade range and value. This is an expert’s opinion, and offered for free included in the price of admission. There is a fee to submit for grading services, including “slabbing” (sealing the book in a plastic case).

TOSS will also witness autographing by artists including Jim Steranko and Joe St.Pierre but submissions MUST be dropped off at their booth prior to 12pm on Sunday & all services are subject to availability.

There will be a limited edition, exclusive comic by Joe St.Pierre “How Kreskin Became Amazing” about The Amazing Kreskin, also a guest at the event, which can be signed by both.
Low admission, plenty of free parking and located 20 miles outside of Boston, it is a convenient location to buy great books, get your comics graded and meet comic artists, authors and creators.
