On this journey, the reader discovers that staying true to oneself or examining one’s own behavior can serve as a powerful and empowering message for both the bullied and bully alike. Hailing from the tiny town of Seymour, Wisconsin, Scott grew up to become the single producer involved in the creation of 2 of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful franchises in video game history: Medal of Honor and Call of Duty. With over 20 years of production experience, a Masters in Theater from Villanova University, and production work with companies like DreamWorks, Electronic Arts, Activision, Disney/Pixar, and the Jim Henson Company, Scott is no stranger to the art of creating engaging, high quality entertainment.
Scott is also the author of Sofa Boy, a grim yet fanciful cautionary tale for children about the perils of media and video game addiction, Gold Medal Winner of the 2009 Moonbeam Children’s Book Award for Best Children’s Picture Book Ages 4-8 – recently released in its 10th anniversary edition. He is the author of The Question, a home-alone snowstorm adventure taken from the imaginative experiences of his youth in wintery Wisconsin, and the 2019 newly released anti-bullying tale: BULLIED, a contemporary look at modern-day bullying and the impact it has on the futures of all involved.
Erik is a contemporary illustrator from Los Angeles, CA. If he’s not drawing or tabling at conventions, you can probably catch him watching reruns of Seinfeld or creating yet another playlist on iTunes. He also loves sushi and has an unhealthy obsession with wasabi.
