Flame Con, the world’s largest queer comic con, returns for its fourth year, and we are expecting this fourth go-around to be EPIC! Flame Con is proud to announce our newest guests Phil Jimenez and Amy Reeder on August 18 – 19, 2018 at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel!

Award-winning writer and artist Phil Jimenez has created for DC Entertainment and Marvel Comics for the past two decades. His works include Astonishing X-MenWonder WomanThe InvisiblesInfinite CrisisOtherworldThe Amazing Spider-ManFairestSavage WolverineAngela, and the upcoming Historiographic novel from DC’s Black Label. Considered the most prominent gay creator in mainstream comics (Huffington Post, Entertainment Weekly), and featured as one of Out magazine’s Out 100 last year, Jimenez also teaches life drawing at SVA.

Amy Reeder is a writer and artist whose entry into TOKYOPOP’s 2004 Rising Stars of Manga competition led to the publication of her original English language manga Fool’s Gold. Critically acclaimed runs as artist on Madame Xanadu and Batwoman soon followed. Amy co-wrote and drew covers for Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, and illustrates her creator-owned Image Comics series Rocket Girl.
