Teen Comic Con at Portsmouth Public Library

Press Release:

Teens grades 6 – 12 are invited to a FREE Comic Con at the Portsmouth Public Library on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Our featured guest is Cory Levine, Author of Bowery Boys.

This program is a cooperation between the Portsmouth High School Clipper Library, PPL and Stairway to Heaven Comics.

Dress up for the Costume Contest or participate in the Trivia Contest and enter to win Prizes. Have your Caricature drawn by PHS student Rebecca Leblanc. Preview a new FREE DIGITAL COMICS service from the library. Or, take a picture in our Photobooth. And more!

Then, at 5:00 PM, join us for a talk from Cory Levine. Levine will have time for some questions, and will sign copies of his book, Bowery Boys. Books will be available for purchase.

Levine will also lead a Panel featuring other special guests, including Randy Michaels, illustrator of How I Made the World, and Larry Daley, illustrator, editor and former managing director at DC Comics.
