SF – Coding for Kids Signing

Gene Luen Yang, author of SECRET CODERS, and Carlos Bueno, author of LAUREN IPSUM, appear at Mission: Comics & Art on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 4:00 PM to promote their books aimed at teaching young people coding concepts!

Gene’s AMERICAN BORN CHINESE was the first graphic novel to win American Library Association’s Printz Award. He is also now writing DC Comics’ Superman and Avatar: The Last Airbender for Dark Horse Comics.

Former Facebook engineer Carlos first self published Lauren Ipsum and was subsequently honored as a Champion of Change by the White House.
