Nathan Fillion and Terry Moore Added to May 2013 Dallas Comic Con

DCC Nathan Fillion

Press Release:

Nathan Fillion and Terry Moore add excitement to Dallas Comic Con this May 17-19

The Dallas Comic Con returns to the Irving Convention Center this May 17-19, and the guest list is already one of the most-impressive to date for the event. Joining in on the fun are two heavyweights from the respective worlds of sci-fi and comic books. Nathan Fillion, star of FIREFLY and CASTLE, will be appearing Saturday and Sunday at the show – he also happens to be the event’s most-requested guest for the last 5+ years. Also added is Eisner Award-winning creator Terry Moore, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of his book STRANGERS IN PARADISE. Moore has also handled creator-owned projects like ECHO and RACHEL RISING. They complement a list that includes comic names like Jim Steranko, Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Len Wein, Dave Johnson, Andrew Robinson, Eric Canete, Arthur Suydam, Mark Brooks, Phil Noto, and Playboy artist Doug Sneyd. Media guests include William Shatner, Richard Dean Anderson, Brandon Routh, John Noble, Jasika Nicole, Colin Ferguson, Gates McFadden, Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, Natasha Henstridge, Kelly Hu, Ernie Hudson, Kristin Bauer, Ioan Gruffudd, Kevin Conroy, and original Brat Pack member Andrew McCarthy.

Event manager Mark Walters stated “We’re so thrilled to have Nathan Fillion join the guest list, not just because he’s been our most-requested guest for years, but truth be told we’re all big fans of the man. In 2012 we celebrated FIREFLY’s 10th Anniversary with several of the stars attending, and up until now we’ve literally had every star from the series at the event, with the exception of Nathan – so now all those hardcore fans can complete their cast photos or posters… I know I will. Then there’s the wonderful Terry Moore, who has appeared with us in the past, but I’d feel odd not having him on the roster for the 20th Anniversary of STRANGERS IN PARADISE. Terry is such a great talent, and has developed quite a legacy in this industry, and we’re also honored to call him a good friend. Adding both of these gentlemen to the guest list should be as much of a treat for fans as it is for us.”
