MA – Heroes With and Without Capes Lecture

Marc Tyler Nobleman speaks at Kent Hall of Fitchburg State University on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 7:00 pm.

Press Release:

In this Robert Cormier Lecture, Marc Tyler Nobleman turned a childhood passion for superheroes into an adult passion for superheroes, then turned that into two critically-acclaimed nonfiction picture books about superhero creators (Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman and Bill the Boy Wonder: The Secret Co-Creator of Batman). That turned into a lively presentation revealing the stories (at once inspirational and heartbreaking) behind these books. But as you will see, Marc is interested in more than just fictional heroes…

Tickets: $7/general public; $5/students (at the door) Free with CenterStage membership card.

Cosponsored by the Leominster Champion.

Support for the academic classroom visits by the author comes from the Roberta Fitzmaurice Connors Endowment of Fitchburg State University with additional support from Unitil.
