Sean “Cheeks” Galloway and Ryan Benjamin sign at Stuart Ng Books on Saturday August 4, 2012 from 12 noon to 2pm where they will be signing their new Table Taffy books. They will add a sketch in this book and you may request a character of your choice! You can pre-order your copy to be shipped or picked up at the store.
Book 1 has Gumshoes issue 1 and Pancratia issue 1 along with sneak peaks to more Little Big Heads and much more!
Book 2 has behind-the-scenes stuff like process and a ton of backgrounds and character designs.
Ryan is “a professional comic book artist. Image, Wild Storm, Marvel and DC to name a few. I am always drawing something. I also do allot of 3d animation in Lightwave. I am also a conceptual artist for various companies. Right now I am with Sony.”
Sean works primarily in animation as a character designer. His work is evident on the Hellboy animated films and the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series. He has also contributed to DC Comics (Teen Titans Go, Wednesday Comics).

Comics industry legend Stan Lee is back at the 2012 Baltimore Comic-Con! Taking place September 8-9 at the Baltimore Convention Center in downtown Baltimore, Stan Lee will be appearing at the show on Saturday, September 8th. The Orlando Comic Expo is Coming Soon
July 23rd, 2012 – The Orlando Comic Expo will debut on September 23rd, 2012!
With a large selection of vendors selling comic books, action figures, cards, games, manga and Star Wars items there will be something for everyone. A fine foray of local writers and artists will be exhibiting their works, selling original artwork and commissions. In addition, an art contest and costume contest will be held for any attendee to participate in and have the chance to win convention cash! Whether you are a collector, aspiring artist, or just want to enjoy the sights that are included in a convention filled with a hodgepodge of costumed heroes (and villains) walking around—chances are that the Orlando Comic Expo will make for a fun-filled day with family and friends!
Be sure to arrive early to pick-up a FREE Orlando Comic Expo exclusive poster featuring the Fantastic Four’s mighty clobberin’ hero, “The Thing”! The poster was created by Marvel Comics artist, Ron Wilson (who will be in attendance).
In addition, the Orlando Comic Expo has teamed up with Orlando-area comic book store, “A Comic Shop” to host a “Pre-Show Party” on Saturday, September 22nd from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Everyone is invited to enjoy the evening surrounded by other like-minded pop culture fanatics, guests of the show and other cool characters. The beer is FREE, courtesy of the Orlando Comic Expo (IDs will be checked at the door).

Rafer Roberts opens a solo art show at the Common Grounds Gallery inside VisArts at Rockville with a reception on Friday August 3rd from 7:00 – 9:00pm.
A fervent reader of comics since an early age, Rafer has been creating comics for most of his life. Mostly known as the creator, writer and artist of the underground comic PLASTIC FARM, Rafer is also the man behind NIGHTMARE THE RAT as well as the former editor of Washington DC’s MAGIC BULLET comic newspaper. He currently lives in western Maryland with his wife and muse and their several cats.
