Kiss Miss Carol Debuts at NYCC 2011

Press Release:

Tim Sale and Brian Mulcahy are pleased to announce the publication of “Kiss Miss Carol: A Crime Story of Christmas.” Set in the early 1950s, “Kiss Miss Carol” tells the story of what private detective Nick Coffin believes will be his worst holiday ever.  It’s 8:00 PM on Christmas Eve and Nick is sitting in his office, his only company a half-empty bottle of Johnny Walker. Then Mary walks through his door, a woman from his past who needs him to find her kidnapped baby boy.

“Kiss Miss Carol” is written by Brian Mulcahy with a cover, frontispiece, four full-page interior illustrations, and six vignettes by Tim Sale, the Eisner Award-winning artist of Batman: The Long Halloween, Batman: Dark Victory, Daredevil: Yellow, Hulk: Gray, Spider-Man: Blue, and the upcoming Captain America: White.

“Kiss Miss Carol” is available as a trade paperback and an eBook from and on iTunes. The trade paperback version is 9″ wide by 7″ high and 56 pages long with a color cover and black and white interior illustrations. The trade paperback retails for $9.99 and the eBook retails for $5.99.

An Artist’s Sketchbook Edition, limited to 50 numbered copies, will be available for sale at Tim Sale’s table at the New York Comic Con starting on Friday, October 14, 2011.
