Hi. My husband is Charles Boeckman, a pulp fiction writer
back in the day. He wrote under the name of
Charles Beckman, Jr. He will be 90 years old
on November 9.
I thought you might like to contact him before
your convention for a comment or two about
pulp writing. He will be featured in an up-coming
issue of a magazine published by Gary Lovisi
of Gryphon books. Do you know about Gary.
We just recently learned that there are pulp fans
around the country and conventions. Who would
have known?
Our best for a successful convention in November.
Hey, that’s fantastic that you reached out! We always like to give shout-outs to the men and women who made the pulps great! Why not email me directly at boldventurepress@aol.com, and we’ll talk?
Why we’re at it, what is your name, so I know to whom I have the pleasure of speaking with?
Luckily, Brian Pate (the guy who manages this site) gave me a heads-up … I hadn’t realized anyone even left a comment. yahoo!
best
RICH HARVEY
