Described by Forbes Magazine as “the best-selling author you’ve never heard of,” Neil Gaiman has been among the top comics authors for more than two decades. A master of myth and legend, he is the creator and writer of the cult DC Comics series Sandman, “the greatest epic in the history of comic books” (Los Angeles Times). He co-authored the scripts for the films Beowulf and Stardust, and an animated film version of Gaiman’s highly popular novel Coraline was released to rave reviews in 2009. He will discuss his work including recent bestseller The Graveyard Book, recipient of the 2008 Newbery Award, and creating the future with creativity.

Distinguished Visiting Fellow in the College of Creative Studies.
