Earlier this year, we reported that JumpCon owner Shane Senter had filed for bankruptcy.
Now word comes from the Convention Fans blog that the would-be convention promoter has apparently worked out a plea bargain agreement in the criminal case against him that will see him receive 5 years probation as well as make restitution to those who have filed complaints against him. He is also “not allowed to own, operate, manage or control a business where he takes payments/deposits up front.”
Interestingly, the convention website is still live: http://www.jumpcon.net/
